Some suffixes indicates corn for something or bad quality.
1 They modify nouns
- -orro, -orra: tintorro (= a red wine of poor quality).
- –ucho, -ucha: pueblucho (= a small and ugly town), tenducha (= a small, poorly stocked shop).
- -azo, -aza: pelmazo (= someone too boring).
- -ote, -ota: papelote (= an irrelevant piece of paper), amigote (= friends drinking at a bar, talking about football, etc.).
- -acho: poblacho (= a small and ugly town), populacho (= common people).
- -uza: gentuza (= criminals and bad people).
- Algunos diminutivos también expresan desprecio. Es el caso de: reyezuelo (= an unimportant king), mujerzuela (= a prostitute).
- -ejo: tipejo (= un hombre).
- -ingo: señoritingo, señoritinga.
2 Modifying adjectives
- -Ucho, -ucha also modify adjectives: paliducho, larguirucho, blancucho, blanducho, etc.
Este melocotón está muy blanducho.
