1 Ninguno, ningún and ninguna

  • Ningún and ninguna are indefinite adjectives meaning ni uno and precede the noun. They are not used in plural. Ningún is the shortened form of ninguno and is used before masculine nouns.

If ningún and its derivatives follow the verb, the negative adverb no is necessary. If ningún and the noun precede the verb, no is omitted.

Nadie may not be used with de + noun in plural.
