Double past participle. Some other verbs have two participles: one regular and another irregular. The regular one is generally used in the formation of the perfect tenses, the irregular one is used as adjective.

However, we prefer frito, preso, provisto or roto in the formation of compound tenses. When preso is used to build the compound tenses of the verb prender means arrestar.
Many irregular past participles have evolved and now they are used as nouns. This is the case of: substituto / sustituto, poseso, suspenso, convicto, converso, manifiesto, etc.
