- Junto and junta agree with uncountable nouns; juntos and juntas, with countable nouns.

Many times they combine with todo and its derivatives.

–Ponlos todos juntos.
- When they mean en el mismo lugar follow the noun.
Pon todas las cucharas juntas. (= Put all the spoons in the same place.)
Nunca he visto tanta gente junta.
- When meaning no por separado follow the verb.
Leopoldo y Gisela viven juntos. (= They live with each other.)
Camila y Raúl han ido juntos al teatro.
2 Junto a is a preposition.
Te espero junto a la fuente.
He aparcado junto al quiosco.
3 Do not mistake yo junto, tú juntas, él junta… of the verb juntar for the adjective and the preposition.
Junta más las sillas; están muy separadas.
